There is nothing better than a glass of cold drink after a long day of work. Many people would dream to have a can of that icy cold coke. Instead, you could be reaching for something healthier, less sweet, no preservatives and additives. So, drink smarter for your health and well-being. Here are 5 healthy drinks that are rich in vitamins and minerals, help to combat blood pressure and regulate your blood glucose levels. Yet, they help to provide energy, revive your body and help you in maintaining good health. Make it a habit to always skip sugary drinks and go for other healthy alternatives for example fresh coconut water, unsweetened herbal tea, soy milk, milk shake, DIY chocolate milkshake, or green juice. It is the healthy way to quench your thirst.

Water is the best drink for a healthy and strong body. A glass of cold clean water is the first choice to quench your thirst. Water is an important key to good life. Ingredients:

1 cup of greek yogurt

1/2 cup of skim milk

1/2 Frozen banana

1 cup of frozen chopped ripe mango (choose one fruit of your choice)

In a blender, put 1 cup of frozen chopped ripe mango (Leave it overnight in the fridge), 1/2 cup of frozen banana, 1 cup of greek yogurt, and 1/2 of skim milk. Then, blend them well until smooth. After that, add 2 teaspoons of raw honey or a few drops of stevia, and blend all the ingredients until thick, creamy and smooth. Ready to be served!

Carbonated water

Squeeze 3-4 limes into a glass, and then add 2 tablespoons of raw honey and a pinch of salt. After that, stir well until the honey and salt dissolve. You can add a bit of hot water. It will dissolve faster this way. Finally, add carbonated water to the mix and stir well. You can put a mint leaves if you wish to, and you’re done. Serve it cold! Enjoy!

Combine dark chocolate, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1/3 cup of coconut water, and 3 tablespoons of raw honey in a saucepan using low heat. Then, pour the mixture to a blender and add ice cubes. After that, pour 2 cups of chocolate milk and a pinch of salt to the mix, blend them well until smooth and creamy. Finally, top off your chocolate milk with cocoa powder. Serve immediately and enjoy!
