If you are a big fan of coffee, you would love this. Drinking 1-3 small cup(s) of unsweetened black coffee daily may help to promote weight loss and increase energy expenditure. However, drinking too much coffee may lead to negative side effects for example insomnia, restlessness, and nervousness. So, drink it in moderation and not more than the daily recommended amount of caffeine intake.

Learn to love stevia, maple syrup, or raw honey. Try to avoid artificial sugar and refined sugar. Excessive consumption of sugar can cause health problems and lead to many diseases including type II diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, and more.

 [divider title=”Consume more lean protein” style=”style6″ align=”left”/]

It is important to eat more lean protein such as chicken, meat, pork, and fish. It helps to maintain lean body mass and build muscle. It also helps to keep you feeling full longer and reduces food cravings. Add lean protein to your dinner daily for example grilled chicken with garlic rice, steak with grilled asparagus or avocado with mashed potato.

[divider title=”Add dietary fiber to your diet” style=”style6″ align=”left”/]

Eat more fiber to stay fit and firm. Fiber keeps things moving and is good for your digestive system. An adequate consumption of dietary fiber not only helps you to lose weight, but also lowers your risk of cardiovascular disease, lowers cholesterol levels, prevents constipation, prevents diabetes, and keeps medicine at bay.

 [divider title=”Reduce portion size” style=”style6″ align=”left”/]

Reduce your portion size and eat more frequently. You should split your meal and try not to stuff everything in at once. You should eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack between each meal, and have something small for supper. This helps to boost your metabolism and promote good health. Try to focus on a long-term strategy rather than short-cut methods with negative side effects.

No matter where you are and what you do, just remember that there will always be challenges and pressure. You just have to be strong and stand for what you believe in. It does not matter what they say, how they judge you, or how the media set the unrealistic beauty standards. Do not let that affect you. Be the best version of yourself.  Be strong!

Have a great day my dear friend!
