Healthy Dessert Recipes

You may think that it is best to ditch a delicious dessert after your dinner in order to stay healthy and slim. That is not true. We need a treat too, perhaps once in awhile. It is good to reward yourself with a piece of brownie. chocolate chip frappe or ice-cream. However, it is good to have everything in moderation.  What if I say, you can eat more of these desserts without gaining weight, yet it is healthy! Here are some dessert recipes for you that you can eat them as much as you want on your treat day.

Gelatin 1 1/2 teaspoons

Plain water 1 table spoon

Skim milk 2 1/2 cups

Maple syrup 4 cups

Vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon

Egg yolks 2

Ground almonds 1/2 cup

Preparation:

Firstly, mix gelatin with plain water until it is well mixed. Secondly, heat up skim milk using medium flame and then add maple syrup, vanilla extract, and egg yolks, continue to stir and mix well until you get a custard-like texture. Last step, pour the mixture through a sieve, and mix well with gelatin. Add gourd almond to the mixture. Leave it overnight and enjoy your almond ice cream.

Greek yogurt 6 tablespoons

Raw honey 2 tablespoons

Peeled orange slices 

Papaya (Optional)

Mango (Optional)

Preparation:

Put 3 tablespoons of Greek yogurt into a glass, follow by a layer of raw honey, and fill the last layer with the rest of Greek yogurt. Topping with lots of peeled orange slices or with additional of papaya or mango. You can add more of raw honey if you like it sweet. leave it in the fridge. It is best to serve when it is cold.

Your favorite fruit (banana, watermelon, kiwi, cantaloupe, or strawberry)

Coconut oil

Dark chocolate powder

Skim milk

Maple syrup

Preparation:

Mix dark chocolate powder with skim milk, coconut oil  and maple syrup, heat it up for approximately 10 minutes. After that, dip your favorite fruits immediately  into the chocolate mixture. It will turn crisp and hard. Repeat the same thing for all and place them in the freezer. You can have them as a Popsicle during the hot weather or after your work out.

Crushed oatmeal cookies

Crush cornflakes

Peanut butter

Strawberry slices

Strawberry yogurt

Gelatine 50 grams

Plain water 2 cups

Maple syrup 4 cups

Lemon juice 1/2 cup

Preparation:

Mix crushed oatmeal cookies and cornflakes together, and put it as the first layer and coat it with peanut butter. Mix strawberry yogurt with maple syrup until you get a smooth texture and leave it for 10 minutes. While waiting for the strawberry mixture, mix gelatin with plain water and heat it up with medium flame until it is melt. Then, pour the strawberry mixture into the pan and mix well with the gelatin, stir for approximately 10-15 minutes. After that, pour the mixture on top of the crushed oatmeal cookies and cornflakes that prepared earlier. Topping your strawberry jello cake with strawberry slices and dark chocolate powered and raw honey or mixed berries. It can be any kind of your favorite fruits. Leave it in the freezer for 3 hours or overnight. You should try it with a scoop of ice-cream. Enjoy!
