Starving yourself or depriving yourself from foods causes your body to store a lot more fat. It is a simple survival mechanism. You will need to eat in order to burn fat and reduce fat storage. I know it sounds counterproductive, but it is fact. So, eat your food and do not starve yourself.

People tend to binge on junk foods that are packed with high cholesterol and bad fats, that are high in calories. You should learn to eat right, feed yourself with the right nutrients, and do not deprive yourself from certain foods. This is because when you deprive yourself from certain foods, you will crave for it even more and tend to overeat until your body is numb and sick of them. On the other hand, binging on foods can be a result of certain types of emotions for example anxiety, stress, unhappiness, sadness, or even depression. This can be prevented by practicing yoga, mediation, or finding some hobbies that you love to do. Enjoy your life like you deserve.

Snacking is a good habit, if it is done at the right time and with the right foods. Snacking at night can be your enemy when it comes to weight management because your body’s metabolism and digestion are not working properly and the reaction is slowed down a lot. Whatever that you stuff in at night will stay in your body and id stored as fat in your liver. You should try to eat at least 2 hours before your bedtime and try not to skip your meals, especially your dinner. You can also make your own healthy snacks for night time snacking. You should try dark chocolate almond milk, frozen blueberries, kale chips, or sweet potato chips.

Skipping meals makes you eat more and increases food cravings as well as sugary foods. You should more often and regularly maintain a healthy weight. Food is not your enemies, but your negative thoughts are. Eating regularly helps your body to burn more stored fat and reduce fat storage in your liver. You should not be so hard on yourself by skipping meals in order to be slim. Being slim does not always mean beautiful, but a fit and healthy body does. Being healthy is a lifestyle.

It is very important to eat enough high fiber foods and drink a lot of water. It helps to boost your metabolism and improve your digestive system. It keeps things moving. It is also a natural way of detoxifying your body from inside out. A healthy lifestyle is not all about eating healthy foods, and I am not recommending you to only eat organic or superfoods, but rather a combination of indulgent food mixed with healthy options. Many may say that Ii do not want to live my life eating healthy foods and follow a healthy routine, but the fact is you cannot enjoy life when you are sick, in the long term.
