How To Kill Tummy Fat

Visceral fat is more than just a chunky stubborn fat around your belly. In fact, it is a dangerous type of fat, which is the culprit of many chronic diseases including type II diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, stroke, hypertension, and certain types of cancer. There are many overweight people with excellent health condition, which is perfectly fine. In contrast, some overweight people are in high risk of chronic diseases. If you have excess fat around your tummy, perhaps it is time to get rid of it. It does not only help you to easily fit into those jeans, but also reduces your risk of many diseases. Here is how to lose your tummy fat fast.

You should eat less of refined carbs and change to healthier alternatives like brown rice, wholemeal bread, wholemeal pasta, sweet potatoes, and quinoa. It includes cutting down your consumption of white sugar or any sugar added beverages. Have you ever wonder ed why? It is just sugar. Well, it disrupts hormones that control your hunger, which stimulates you to crave for more sugary and junk food. In addition to that, high consumption of sugar also leads to inflammation, type II diabetes, tooth decay, and obesity. Nevertheless, this does not mean that you have to say ‘no’ to your favourite cupcakes forever. It’s just mean that you should be mindful and have them in moderation.

You should try to fill your plate with dark leafy green vegetables or cruciferous vegetables. They help to satiate you and fill up your stomach. This can help to lower your caloric intake and prevent overeating. Fiber-rich foods such as beans, barley, mushroom, oranges, grapes, apples, and carrots contain a high amount of soluble fiber, which helps to lower cholesterol levels, ease constipation, promote  a healthy heart, and aid for weight loss. There is no magic overnight, try it, and you will see the positive changes in just weeks.

Fat is an excellent macro-nutritent that our body needs for a proper brain function, regulate our body temperature, and a good source of energy. However, it is important to consume the right fats, which is monounsaturated fats. Healthy fats are mostly derived from nuts, seeds, and fish. On the other hand, trans fat is an unhealthy fat that causes health complications, weight gain, and chronic diseases. You should however try to avoid trans fat foods for example cookies, margarine, butter, cakes, cream-filled shakes, doughnut, and whipping cream. Try to avoid it and your body will thank you for it!

There is nothing better than chilling on your couch and sip on a glass of wine after a long day of work. But did you know that alcohol contains empty calories and makes you gain unwanted flabby tummy? If you love to party and drink a lot of alcohol, you should think again. It is good to drink alcohol once in awhile to celebrate, but drinking too much of it can cause harm to your body. You can start slow by making a simple change like swapping beer to red wine. It is a better option. If you don’t like red wine, you can always moderate your alcohol consumption instead.

If you are not a big fan of physical activities and have no motivation to hit the gym, you should at least try some light exercises like cycling, brisk walking, swimming or walking. It is important to try to engage to exercises and stay active. Cycling along with eating nutrient-dense foods can help you to lose stubborn belly fat and tone up your body.
